WARSAW – Ray Davis has poured a lot of time and effort into a lengthy prep coaching career.

Davis was honored recently for his long and dedicated high school coaching career with the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association 20-year Award for his coaching tenure.

Davis spent 16 seasons as an assistant girls basketball coach and was on the staff of Warsaw’s 2004 Class 4-A state runner-up team. He also coached track, junior varsity volleyball, softball and golf.

Davis also served as the head girls basketball coach at Whitko High School.
