Juan Carlos Gutierrez-Najera, 26, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away on March 5, 2014 in Fort Wayne, IN.

He was born on Jan. 17, 1988, in Los Cumbres Aguascalientes, Mexico to Antonio Gutierrez and Tiffany Trevino.

He loved playing with his dogs and spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors and video games.

Juan is survived by his mother; Tiffany Trevino, Ligonier; two brothers: Jorge L. Najera, Ligonier; Christopher Najera, Ligonier; his grandfather: Juan Najera, of Mexico; three uncles: J. Guadalupe Najera, Juan Najera and Jose Luis Gutierrez; three aunts: Virginia Najera, Celia Najera and Francisca Najera; his fiancé: Cassandra Lambright, Ligonier; numerous cousins; and two special family friends: Rosa Garcia and Valerie Hague.

He was preceded in death by his father: Antonio Gutierrez.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Zion Comunidad Cristiana Church, 71691 CR 33, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, March 10, at the church with Pastor Cervantes officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
