Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory had a reason to celebrate today as the newest recruit was sworn in by mayor Joe Thallemer.

Drew Shilling, accompanied by his fellow firefighters and his wife, attended the Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety this morning and took the official oath of the Warsaw Fire Department. Shilling also received his official firefighters pin from his brother, Derek Shilling, who is a 10-year veteran of the WWFT.
