Jose “Cruz” Medina Castillo, 57, of Milford, Ind., died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Milford.

He was born May 4, 1956, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, to Tomas Medina Llamas and Refugia Castillo Becerro. He married Elena Medina on Sept. 4, 1976.

For 20 years he owned and operated Medina’s Body Repair in Milford.

Jose is survived by six children: Frank (Tania) Medina, Junior (Katie) Medina, Anna (Daniel) Moro, Nancy (Jonathan) Garcia, Karina (Ivan) Esparza and Alexa Medina, all of Goshen, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and six siblings: Manuel (Isabel) Medina, Rafael Medina, Maria Luisa Medina, Juan (Estela) Medina, Guadalupe Medina and Micaela Medina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the funeral home.
Cremation will follow the service.
