A house in Warsaw’s Herscher’s Addition collapsed tonight, presumably under the weight of heavy snow.

Warsaw firefighters were called at about 5:53 p.m. to 1333 Gable Dr. where the residential structure collapsed. Police and fire officials on scene said the home appeared to be vacant as snow had not been shoveled there. Neighbors also said the occupants moved out some time ago.

County records show that the house is owned by Stephen Sanchez.
