WARSAW – Jim Pifer is headed to try and roll his way to a state championship.

The Warsaw bowler earned a spot in the State Finals this weekend with an impressive effort in the semi state this past weekend.

Pifer rolled a 664 series to place 11th in the semi state held in Fort Wayne to earn a qualifying berth at State this Saturday. Pifer will compete in the boys’ singles event at Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis.

The Warsaw boys and girls teams each wrapped up very successful seasons by placing ninth at the semi state.
