Some Whitley County residents are without power today so warming stations have been established.

Whitley County Emergency Management has arranged for the Churubusco Fire Department, city hall council room, Whitley County Government Center, Columbia City YMCA, St. Matthews Church and the Thorncreek Township Fire Department to all serve as warming stations.

Today’s bitter cold temperatures should not be taken lightly. If you are a Whitley County resident and are without power or heat today, the warming stations are open and should be utilized.
