ROCHESTER – The Tippecanoe Valley wrestling team turned in a strong performance Thursday night in the Three Rivers Conference Meet.
The Vikings had three individuals claim championships as the team captured a second-place finish in the tournament.
Winning titles for the Vikings were Devin Childers at 132, Wyatt Nelson at 138 and Garrett Bell at 170.
Host Rochester claimed the team championship with 256 points. Valley was second with 201.5, followed by Southwood (200.5), Northfield (129),North Miami (121), Wabash (118), ancestor (103) and Whitko (64).
Valley will compete in the Plymouth Sectional Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
