ELKHART – The Warsaw gymnastics team posted a fourth-place finish Saturday in the Blazer East/West Invitational.

The Tigers recorded a team score of 88.8 in the five-team competition held at Elkhart Central High School.

Shannon Winslow was the top performer for Warsaw. She placed fifth in the floor exercise and eighth on the beam to finish eighth in the all-around standings.

Molly Borchers placed eighth in the uneven bars for the Tigers.

Michigan City won the team title with a score of 105.55. Host Central was second at 97.75, followed by East Noble (96.15), Warsaw (88.8) and Westview (29.10).

Warsaw competes at Homestead Tuesday night. The Tigers host Wawasee on Jan. 28.
