Ezra Carter VerHage, 6, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at his residence.

He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind.  He was born on Nov. 24, 2007, in Warsaw, Ind., to Micah Alan VerHage and Stephanie Marie (Scott) VerHage, who survive in Winona Lake.

He is survived by his parents; grandparents: Larry and Lana VerHage, Warsaw; Theresa Scott, Statesboro, Va.; Bill and Annette Scott, Roanoke, Va.; great-grandparents: Ned and Lorraine VerHage, Elk Rapids, Mich.; and Lois Scott, Roanoke.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother: Dianne VerHage.

There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and will be officiated by Pastor John Teevan.  Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw.
