Joetta Mitchell of Warsaw has announced her intention to run for the office of Kosciusko County Recorder.

Mitchell lives in the Warsaw area with her husband, Ronald. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

She has been a deputy in the county recorder’s office since 2001 and is a member of the Association of Indiana Counties and Indiana Recorder’s Association. She has attended continuing education classes provided by the AIC, earning her diploma in several areas.

Mitchell is an active member of the county’s Republican Women’s Club and attends Warsaw Weslyan Church
