Grants Will Serve The Youth Of Syracuse

The Syracuse/Wawasee Community Fund, a component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, recently announced three grants impacting the Syracuse area.

Baker Youth Club received $1,000 in support of their after-school mentoring and homework help program for Syracuse Elementary School students. Boomerang Backpacks received $1,000 in support of their weekend food program for low-income Syracuse Elementary School students. Wawasee High School received $300 in support of their ECO Challenge Summer Camp, which provides high school credit in career-related classes over the summer.

The Syracuse/Wawasee Community Fund provides support to educational and human services projects in the Syracuse area. The fund was established by Syracuse-area donors and is open to contributions from the public.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community.
