SYRACUSE – In a game that came down to the final possession, Warsaw managed to hold on for a 37-36 freshman boys basketball win at Wawasee Thursday night.

The Warriors had Carter Jones and Tyler Smith both score nine points, but the team missed seven of its 14 free throw attempts in the game.

Warsaw statistics were not provided by either school.

Wawasee will face Lakeland this Saturday morning while Warsaw will host the Tiger Tourney Saturday morning.
