Mentone Fire Department is collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items to donate to Helping Hands. They have placed boxes to fill around town in local businesses for this purpose.

Mentone Fire Department and Santa will be delivering candy starting at 6 p.m. Dec 23, and will be picking up donations from those who wish to donate non-perishable food items. Those who would like a visit from Santa need only to leave their porch light on to have him stop by and bring candy. Those wishing to receive a visit from Santa are asked to turn their porch light on at 6 p.m.
