South Bend-based Fulton Industries Inc. has announced it will be closing its Rochester plant, ultimately putting 90 employees out of work.

In a letter sent to Indiana Workforce Development’s Dislocated Worker Unit, the company blamed the decision on “unforeseeable business circumstances,” namely the loss of the company’s only customer.

The first lay-offs will begin in February with the plant’s final operations to cease by the end of March.
