ALBION – The Whitko boys basketball team collected its first win of the season Tuesday night.

The Wildcats topped host Central Noble by a 45-42 count in non-conference action.

Dylan Cumberland had a huge night for Whitko with 24 points in the victory.

The Wildcats, now 1-3, led 8-4 after the opening period and 21-15 at halftime en route to the win.

Central Noble drops to 0-3 on the season.

Whitko (1-3) hosts Wawasee (0-5) and Central Noble hosts Westview Saturday night.
