Warsaw, Winona Lake and Pierceton fire departments were called to the Merrywood Trailer Park off of U.S. 30 in Warsaw at about 10:30 a.m. this morning.

The trailer at Lot 39, according to Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory Chief Mike Brubaker, is a total loss. Fortunately, no one lived in the trailer at the time of this morning’s fire, but Brubaker said one resident was preparing to move in.

The fire started in the living room area of the trailer, but a cause has not yet been determined. Fire investigators with local Squad 70 were called to the scene.

Also assisting on scene was Multi-Township EMS.
