Hunger Games for Young Adults

The teen book club is meeting for the last time in 2013. The Syracuse Public Library is catching fire with a trivia contest, reaping meal and pin making program at 5 p.m. Dec. 17.

Young people that have watched The Hunger Game movies or read the books are welcome to test their knowledge of the world of Panem. Teens can make an arena token for good luck or a pin of the Mocking Jay. Wear a symbol from the Hunger Games that is made on the new button-making machine.

Students in grades 6-12 can test their luck and skills during the 1 hour program. Questions about the young adult program can be answered by calling 574-457-3022.

Home Schoolers Meet
Home schooling families are getting together at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. The adults bring questions and suggestions to the group, while the children play at several activity stations. The group always welcomes new members.
