Saturday night at 5:30 p.m. the Village at Winona will host a Community Christmas Tree Lighting. The hour-long event is to feature a 3-piece band playing Christmas music, free hot chocolate, free hot cider, free Christmas cookies, decorations for kids to make and a visit from Santa.

In addition, a “community love offering” for the families who lost everything in a Warsaw apartment fire last week is being encouraged. The public is asked to bring items or make financial donations for three families affected by the fire. (See related)
