Unknown-6A big second half powered Tippecanoe Valley past Argos 55-26 Tuesday night.

The Vikings led just 24-14 at halftime before outscoring the hosts 31-12 in the final half.

Logan Britton led the way for Valley with 17 points. Tanner Andrews scored 16 points and Chainey Zolman 11 as the Vikings improved to 2-0.

Argos drops to 1-1 on the season.

Valley plays at Knox Friday.

Cougars Fall To Bruins

Host Bethany Christian rode a strong second quarter surge to top Lakeland Christian Academy 71-43 Tuesday night.

The Bruins outscored the Cougars 28-8 in the second stanza.

Connor Blum tossed in a game-high 27 points, including draining seven 3-pointers, to lead LCA.  Chris Silveus had eight points for the Cougars, who fall to 0-2.

Abe Thorne had 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead Bethany Christian, now 1-2. Ian Bomberger also had 16 points and Sol Brenneman 15 for the winners.

LCA plays at Hamilton and Bethany Christian travels to Prairie Heights on Saturday.
