BOURBON – Triton High School senior Bailey Walters will continue an already successful riding career after signing with the University of South Carolina on an athletic scholarship.

Walters, a six-time American Quarter Horse Association Youth World Championship Show Qualifier, was named a 2013 AQHA Youth World Championship Show Ranch Horse Pleasure Finalist among her many riding accolades. In 2007, Walters was on the All-American Quarter Horse Congress Reserve Champion NYATT team, was the 2009 National Reining Horse Association and AQHA 13-U Reining All-American Quarter Horse Congress champion and was also tabbed in 2009 as the Ed Fear High Point Non-Pro and Track Room Show High Point.

Walters was also a member of the NRHA East Central Affiliate Finals Second Team, the All-American Quarter Horse Congress third place NYATT team, and qualified for the NRHA Affiliate Championship show.

At South Carolina, Walters will major in business.
