On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 2013, the Warsaw Elks Lodge #802 members and volunteers served dinner to 525 Kosciusko County residents at the Center Lake Pavilion.

Local residents without transportation were picked-up and those who could not travel were served dinner in their homes. Turkey, ham and all the trimmings were served along with pumpkin, pecan and an assortment of traditional pies. This important occasion could not have been done without the help of the City of Warsaw’s business organizations, charities and private donors who donated funds to purchase food and drink.

Many thanks go out to all local members and Warsaw citizens who took time out of this celebrated day to help cook, serve and clean-up. Thank you also, to the Warsaw Parks Department for providing this wonderful facility.
