WARSAW – Kyle Hatch notched an undefeated day Saturday to lead the Warsaw wrestling team in its season opener.

Hatch went a perfect 3-0 on the mat in the 106-pound class as the Tigers hosted their own invitational at WCHS.

Warsaw opened the tourney with a 42-33 win over Eastside. The Tigers then lost 37-27 to Homestead and 40-18 to Huntington North.

Luis Cervantes (132), Spencer Gareiss (145), Rory Nolin (195), Anthony Hendrickson (220) and Andrew Brock (heavyweight) each went 2-1 on the day for the hosts.

Warsaw returns to action at Elkhart Memorial Dec. 3.
