Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory had Ferguson Road just south of CR 200 South at SR 25 closed for about 45 minutes Sunday for a gas leak.

It was reported that underground lines were leaking and NIPSCO was called to immediately respond to the scene. The utility company said it increased gas flow pressure in anticipation of higher demand, which has not yet been realized. The increased pressure apparently resulted in the leak and was quickly repaired.
