Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:

• Saturday, Nov. 23, 2:15 p.m. Police were called to the 13000 block of Tippecanoe Drive for a domestic fight. Jeremy James King, 39, of Larwill, was arrested on charges of battery and strangulation.
• Saturday, Nov. 23, 11:41 a.m. An abandoned vehicle was found stuck in the ditch on U.S. 30 east of Springhill Road.
• Saturday, Nov. 23, 4 a.m. Mindy Woods called police to say an unknown male subject was knocking on her front door in the 500 block of Harrison Street. Redid Velazquez, 38, of Pierceton, was arrested for public intoxication.
• Friday, Nov. 22, 10 p.m. Joseph Hill reported a theft of a welder that was taken from his vehicle while it was parked at the Days Inn.
• Friday, Nov. 22, 7:02 p.m. Police were called to Menards for a report of theft and check deception. The incident is under investigation.
