Dog beds were built for the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County in a joint project with the Warsaw Lowe’s store, ABC Industries and Cub Scout Pack 3772.

Inspired by a social media post by a dog rescue site, 34 dog beds will be donated to the animal shelter. The beds will allow the dogs at the shelter to have a place to be other than the cold cement floor this winter.

The products used are also easy to clean, which will help shelter staff promote the health of the dogs. ABC Industries donated the fabric, Lowe’s donated the PVC pipe and screws, and the Cub Scouts and their parents provided the labor to assemble the beds, along with the assistance of Lowe’s associates.
