LEESBURG, Ind. – Maple Leaf Farms was recently presented with a plaque in appreciation for the company’s annual support of the Boomerang Backpack program at Leesburg Elementary School. This is the second year that Maple Leaf Farms has supported the program at the $5,000 level.

The Boomerang Backpack program distributes free, healthy weekend meals for underprivileged students enrolled in the school. It is overseen by a committee of Warsaw Community High School students.
