Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Tuesday, Nov. 19, 4:51 a.m. SR 15 South, Silver Lake. Driver: Nathan A. Wood, 40, Birchwood Court, Wabash. Driver struck a deer, which resulted in heavy damage to his truck, which had to be towed from the scene. Damages: up to $25,000

Monday, Nov. 18, 9:57 p.m. Crystal Lake Road and SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Brockton A. Himes, 21, North Oakwood Drive, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer resulting in major damage to his vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000

Monday, Nov. 18, 6:26 p.m. North SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Kylee M. Robinson, 23, East Pierceton Road, Winona Lake. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500

Monday, Nov. 18, 6:17 p.m. North SR 15, Warsaw. Driver: Miguel Villalobos-Nunez, 48, 3rd Street, LaSalle, Ill. Driver struck a deer resulting in the vehicle needing to be towed from the scene. Damages: up to $5,000

Monday, Nov. 18, 5:25 p.m. North 1000 East north of East Old Trail, Pierceton. Driver: Jason F. Rhoades, 37, East 150 South, Pierceton. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500

Monday, Nov. 18, 4:14 p.m. West 250 North and North Rainbow Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Cody E. Carson, 21, Sand Castle Drive, Warsaw. Carson said he was southbound on Rainbow Drive and attempted to pass a stopped utility truck by swerving into a parking lot. He lost control and crashed into a large boulder. Damages: up to $10,000

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Monday, Nov. 18, 3:39 p.m. Lake City Highway and Parker Street. Drivers: Vickie L. Adams, 51, South SR 25, Warsaw; and Leslie A. Oberg, 34, East 200 North, Warsaw. Both drivers were northbound on Parker Street when Adams said she accidentally entered the left turn lane when she intended to go straight. When she merged into the other lane she collided with Oberg’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500

Monday, Nov. 18, 11:36 a.m. 100 N. Detroit St. Driver: Gregory T. Kester, 49, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Kester backed into a parked car. Damages: up to $5,000

Monday, Nov. 18, 10:40 a.m. West Winona Avenue and Loher Lane. Driver: Denny Sanders, 68, East 500 North, North Webster. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
