Dr. Clyde Root, who lived in Gettysburg, will be the guest speaker at Warsaw Community Library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. Topics of discussion are: Gettysburg 100 years later, the overall battle and its impact, Abraham Lincoln’s speech will be quoted and some remarks about Indiana’s role in the Civil War of 1863 will also be discussed.

Dr. Root has an MS in Library Science, MA in American History and a DA in American History from the University of North Dakota. He also has an MS Library Science degree from Indiana University and has been director of Library Services at Bethel College since 1989.
