Mary Lou Fetrow, 78, of rural La Fontaine, Ind., passed away at 12:10 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Wabash County Hospital.

She was born June 20, 1935, in Marion, Ind., to George and Lucille (Pulley) King.

Mary Lou attended Indiana University in Indianapolis for 2 years. She married Ernest C. Fetrow in Daleville, Ind., on Aug. 18, 1951. She was a respiratory therapist at Wabash County Hospital retiring after 26 years. Mary Lou was a member of Treaty Church of Christ. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Wabash Slicks and Chicks, Manchester Belles and Beaus, and Christmas City Squares. She assembled and built miniature doll houses.

She is survived by her husband: Ernest C. Fetrow, La Fontaine; three children: Bonita (Michael) Snell, Urbana, Ind.; Christopher Fetrow, Marion, Ind.; and John (Karen) Fetrow, North Manchester, Ind.; seven grandchildren: Alisha Snell, Marion; Matthew (Joanie) Snell, Wabash; Amber, Marion; Benjamin (Cyndi) Fetrow, Kendallville, Ind.; Jennifer Riccius, Indianapolis, Ind.; Joseph Bloomer, Wisconsin; and Amanda Bloomer, North Manchester; nine great-grandchildren; a brother: Niles David (BJ) King, Marion; two sisters: Beverly Waggoner, Marion; and Karen (Skip) Kramer, Scranton, Pa.; brother-in-law: William Fetrow, Marion.

She was preceded in death by her grandson: Nicholas John Fetrow; and brother: Richard King.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 and from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the funeral home with Doug Oakes and Scott Saltsman officiating. Burial will be in La Fontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery, LaFontaine, Ind.
