NWCC Hosts Pickleball Tourney

NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Community Center held its first Pickleball Tournament Saturday, Nov. 9, featuring three different age divisions for play.

An open, 55-plus and 75-plus age groups comprised a total of 56 registered players from Warsaw, North Webster, Syracuse and Ft. Wayne.

Each participant received a t-shirt and trophies were awarded to the winners.

North Webster Community Center Director, Erin Smith, said she was “pleased with the turnout for the event.”  Smith added the NWCC has pickleball in the mornings from 9 a.m. to noon during the week for more serious players and offers family pickleball on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
