Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accident:

Friday, Nov. 1, 6:29 a.m. North 450 East and EMS T15 Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Gina M. Ashpole, 54, East Oldfield Drive, Leesburg. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000

Warsaw Police Department
Officer of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Friday, Nov. 1, 6:59 p.m. North Detroit and East Fort Wayne streets. Drivers: Diane C. Workman, 49, Tippecanoe Drive, Goshen; and Latosha L. Douglas, 38, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Workman was northbound on Detroit Street and attempted to change lanes, resulting in a collision with the Douglas vehicle, that was also northbound. Douglas was cited for driving without a seat belt and without financial responsibility. Damages: up to $5,000

Friday, Nov. 1, 6:34 p.m. West Fort Wayne and North Lake streets. Drivers: Carolina Daffre, 17, Wildwood Lane, Winona Lake; and Pamela J. McInnis, 59, North 525 East, Warsaw. Dafree was southbound in an alley and failed to stop before entering the roadway. Damages: up to $1,000

Friday, Nov. 1, 10:07 a.m. U.S. 30 and Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Mitchell G. Kinsinger, 52, Airzona Avenue, Orange City, Iowa; and John L. Swanson, 70, Eola Drive, Winona Lake. Kinsinger was eastbound on U.S. 30 and saw the light turn green, but failed to notice traffic was not moving as quickly as he was and collided with the rear end of Swanson’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000
