Warsaw Church Celebrates 100 Years With Scouts

On Tuesday, Oct. 29, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints celebrates 100 years of involvement with the Boy Scouts of America. Though nationally there will be a major celebration televised in Salt Lake City, Utah, locally, a celebration of the partnership will be occurring as well.

At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1101 N. 175 E., Warsaw, will have displays featuring some of the projects the scouts have worked on this year as well a information on the scouting program. The broadcast will begin at 9 p.m. and refreshments will follow.

The community is invited to come celebrate with the church and learn about the history and legacy associated with the Boy Scouts of America.
