The Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy held its October meeting at the Warsaw Police Station.

Warsaw Mayor, Joe Thallemer, spoke about the duties of the mayor’s office, the city council’s responsibilities and about the different city departments. Bob Sanders, Kosciusko County Councilman, spoke to the students about some of his responsibilities as a member of the county council.

Tony Ciriello, KYLA moderator, concluded the session by informing the students about state government and giving qualities of what makes a good leader.
