At approximately 7:15 p.m. members of Warsaw Police Department and Warsaw Fire Department responded to a traffic accident located on the U.S. 30 West and Silveus Crossing intersection in front of Medtronic.

The accident reportedly involved two vehicles, an SUV and a mini van. According to Warsaw Police Department Chief Scott Whitaker the accident occurred after the SUV rear-ended the mini van.

Though it was initially believed that three individuals had been injured in the accident, according to Chief Whitaker, two patients were transported from the accident by ambulance to Kosciusko Community Hospital on complaints of pain.

Whitaker was unable to comment on the severity of the injuries at this time.
