Detectives from the Lagrange County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a death that occurred early today on Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area near Mongo in Lagrange County.

Early today, deputies from Lagrange County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Conservation Officers responded to a river access within the Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area. Deputies found Misty S. McPartlen, 28, of Mongo, deceased near the Pigeon River.

Mrs. McPartlen is survived by her four children and her husband, Thomas.
