At approximately 6:01 p.m. Tuesday, a Milford man was airlifted from SR 15 near the CR 600 North intersection following a mo-ped accident.

According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Chad Hill, Terry E. Powell, 49, was reportedly southbound on SR 15 when, for an unknown reason, he crashed his mo-ped. Powell was airlifted from the scene and flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center in serious condition.

The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. team are currently awaiting blood/toxicology test results to determine if any potential charges will be filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T. Team was assisted at the scene by the Leesburg/Plain Township Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
