Warsaw Christian Students Have ‘Buddies’

Second grader Thomas Alejado (center) spends time with Kindergarteners Issac Meza (left) and Jackson Barros during the time these two classes get together twice a month at Warsaw Christian School.   Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Turner and second grade teacher Mrs. Vida plan special times for the students to meet with a regular buddy or two to read together, do crafts and exercise their creative energies. This peer mentoring program gives both age groups the opportunity to give and receive academic and spiritual encouragement.  (photo provided)
