Triton Tennis Team Blanks Glenn

images copyBOURBON – Dean Howdeshell led the Triton boys tennis team to another conference win Tuesday.

Howdeshell rolled to a dominating win at No. 1 singles as the host Trojans topped John Glenn 5-0 in a Northern State Conference match.

Senior Howdeshell won 6-0, 6-0 as the Trojans improved to 10-5 overall and 5-1 in the NSC.

Jared Fisher and Alex Eib each won in straight sets at No. 2 and 3 singles respectively for Triton.

The No. 1 doubles team of Lucas Shafer and Darrin Harrell also won in straight sets for the Trojans. The team of Jake Oldham and Austin Sellers won in three sets at No. 2 doubles to complete the shutout for Triton.

Triton beat Lakeland Christian Academy 2-0 in junior varsity action. Winning for Triton were Gavin Eads and Spencer Glingle. The Triton JV improves to 9-3.
