Evelyn H. Hyde, 87 of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Palestine, Ind., to Burton and Aurel (Secor) Hatfield. She was a resident of Kosciusko County most of her life.
Evelyn was a sewing operator at Playtime Inc. and OEC, Warsaw, and a member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters: Sharon (Richard) Delagrange, Warsaw; and Christine (Tom) Heckman, Sun City, Fla.; a son: Barry J. (Marcia) Hyde, Warsaw; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James R. Hyde; seven brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will follow at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Steven Ailes of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
