Leroy F. Miller, 58, of Claypool, was northbound on Ferguson Road approaching CR 200 South when Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies say he failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of an eastbound pickup truck driven by Darrell E. Vetor, 27, of Warsaw.

Vetor sustained a broken femur in the collision and was taken to Lutheran Hospital for treatment. Miller reportedly sustained head an internal injuries and was flown to Lutheran Hospital from a landing zone established at Warsaw Community High School.

Miller had to be freed from the vehicle by Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory firefighters. A 4-year-old girl in Miller’s van was not injured.

Also assisting on scene were paramedics from Multi-Township EMS.
