Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department

Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Saturday, Sept. 7, 12:12 a.m. North 900 block of Hawthorn Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Hayley Lauren Smith, 19, 400 North, Warsaw; and Craig Alan Shull, 45, Oriole Drive, Warsaw. Smith backed into Shull’s parked car.

Saturday, Sept. 7, 1:40 p.m. 640 North near 800 West, Etna Green. Drivers: Matthew L. Meinert, 26, SR 19, Etna Green; and Roderick W. Brown, 48, Wren Street, Elkhart. Meinert rear-ended Brown at a stop sign. Damages: up to $10,000

Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Friday, Sept. 6, 2:09 p.m. 2501 Market and McKinley streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Talisha E. Bambrough, 20, 375 W, Morgan, Utah; and Peggy E. Ditmer, 84, Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake. Bambrough ran a stop sign in front of Ditmer. Collision caused damaged to a parked car and nearby house. Damages: up to $50,000

Saturday, Sept. 7, 1:15 p.m. U.S. 30 near Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Deborah L. Ramsey, 55, SR 14, Akron; and Charles W. Sellers, 53, 9B Road, Bourbon. Ramsey pulled into the intersection and collided with Sellers. Damages: up to $10,000

Sunday, Sept. 8, 12:07 p.m. Winona Avenue near Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brian S. Armacost, 30, Walnut Street, Etna Green. Armacost laid down his motorcycle to avoid a collision with another motorcyclist. Damages: up to $2,500

Sunday, Sept. 8, 8:21 p.m. Fort Wayne and Detroit streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Harish Kumar, 34, Sandpiper Drive, Warsaw; and Marco A. Medina, 32, Church Street, Leesburg. Kumar turned in front of Medina causing a collision. Damages: up to $5,000

Winona Lake Police Department

Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:

Friday, Aug. 9, 1:36 p.m. Seminary Drive. Drivers: Robert R. Staley, 56, Spicewood Drive, Goshen; and Scott J. Carini, 21, Woodbine Boulevard., Lancaster, Pa. Staley collided with Carini. Damages: up to $10,000
