MIDDLEBURY – Former Wawasee High School head football coach, Tom Wogomon, has been named Coach of the Week by the Indianapolis Colts/NFL.

Wogomon, now with Northridge, has the Raiders at 2-0 for the first time since 1992. Wogomon started his head coaching career with Wawasee after pacing the sidelines as an assistant at East Noble for more than a decade.

The 2013 season, Wogomon’s first at Northridge, started out with a 14-7 win over South Bend Adams. The Raiders backed up the week one performance with an impressive 31-13 thrashing of South Bend Riley.

Wogomon and the Raiders will put their 2-0 record up against the coach’s former squad, Wawasee, on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
