North Webster American Legion Post 253 is hosting a Persian/Afghanistan War Era Veterans’ Appreciation Picnic. The event will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. 

A free picnic will be offered for all veterans who served from 1990 to present as well as their families. In addition, the event will feature games, entertainment and a VA Service Officer.

The legion post is located at 756 S. SR 13, North Webster.
