BOURBON – The Triton boys tennis team posted a shutout Tuesday in downing LaVille.

The Trojans did not lose a single game in blanking the Lancers 5-0 in Northern State Conference action.

The singles trio of Dean Howdeshell, Jared Fisher and Alex Eib each won 6-0, 6-0 at the top three spots respectively for Triton.

The Trojans also got 6-0, 6-0 wins from its No. 1 doubles team of Lucas Shafer and Darrin Harrell and its No. 2 doubles duo of Jake Oldham and Austin Sellers.

Triton won the junior varsity match 4-0. Winners for the Trojans were Spencer Glingle, Mace Eads, Gavin Eads and Dalton Bailey.

Triton improves to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the NSC.
