Fall into Fashion (a Back to School Bash) is the theme of this month’s First Friday celebration in Warsaw.

As a result of a joint effort between Warsaw’s Downtown Retail Merchants, the Warsaw Community Development Corporation and the Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Foundation, hundreds of attendees have been enjoying downtown Warsaw’s First Friday events.

This week’s event begins at 5 p.m. with a number of vendor displays. Health and wealth information will also be provided, along with kids games, food and entertainment. In keeping with the fashion theme, a pet parade kicks off the fun at 5:45 p.m. on the Center Street stage in downtown Warsaw, followed by a fashion show at 6 p.m. Models for the Dennie House will be showcasing Life is Good clothing for the fashion show.

The Lakes Area Community Band will take the stage to provide musical entertainment at 6:30 p.m. and the featured band, End Times Spasm Band is scheduled to begin play at 7:30 p.m.

Rex’s Rendezvous will have a beer tent set up as part of the First Friday events which run from 5 p.m. to about 9 p.m. weather permitting.

Next month’s First Friday theme is Art-ober and is slated for Friday, Oct. 4.
