A 19-year-old Mentone woman was arrested early Sunday after leading police on a high speed chase in Warsaw.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested Destinee Nicole Robinson-Moore, 19, after she disregarded a stop sign then failed to stop for a police officer.

KCSD deputies first observed Robinson-Moore traveling at a high rate of speed on Winona Avenue at about 4:20 a.m. Sunday. She approached the intersection of Zimmer Road and failed to stop. She continued westbound on Crystal Lake Road and accelerated to speeds up to 110 mph with police units in pursuit.

In the 5500 block of West Crystal Lake Road, Robinson-Moore’s vehicle exited the roadway and police were able to take her into custody. Warsaw City Police Department also assisted in the incident and determined that Robinson-Moore had struck a Kosciusko County roadway sign and a mailbox during the pursuit.

Robinson-Moore has preliminarily been charged with felony fleeing/resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, reckless driving, minor consumption of alcohol and driving while suspended. She is currently being held on a $2,000 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.
