AlliedBarton Security Services’ employees in Mishawaka are coming together to organize and volunteer at the annual Marine Mud Run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 7 at Marian High School, to raise funds and support the Toys for Tots Foundation. Samuel Alameda, operations manager of AlliedBarton, who organized his first Marine Mud Run in 2004, hopes to raise more than $30,000 this year.

The Marine Mud Run, a community support project and public event sponsored by Post #095 of the Marine Corps League, is a public event open to runners of all ages and physical abilities. Participants will trek through a three mile course with Marine style obstacles including walls, trenches and mud pits and various surfaces including dirt roads, fields, ponds and mud trails.
