COLUMBIA CITY – Alexis Manwaring paced the Warsaw girls golf team to a win over Columbia City Monday.
Manwaring shot a 41 as the Tigers posted a team score of 190 to top the host Eagles at Eagle Glen. Columbia City shot 201 in the non-conference match.
Nikki LaLonde carded a 45 and Elizabeth Meadows a 46 for the Tigers, who improved to 2-0 on the young season. Kristen Watson shot 58 and Page Desenberg 63 for Warsaw in the win.
Columbia City won the JV match 216-250.
Miranda Domiano and Maddie Graham each shot 61 to pace the Warsaw JV team. Lauren Shaffner shot a 63 and Morgen Fuentes 65 for the Tigers.
Warsaw hosts No. 12 Rochester Thursday at Stonehenge at 5 p.m. The Tigers will then play in the Western Invitational Saturday in Kokomo.
