Indiana Conservation Officers have confirmed that at 3:22 today 2 year-old Tucker Farmer, Marion, died at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

An autopsy will be performed by the Allen County Coroner’s Office Monday to determine the cause of death.

Indiana Conservation Officers will continue to investigate the accident.

Farmer had had been pulled from the water at Kuhn Lake, part of the Barbee Chain, North Webster, at approximately 7 p.m. has been air lifted to Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, in critical condition.

North Webster EMS & Fire Rescue and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of #12 EMS B3A L lane, Leesburg, at approximately 7 pm after receiving a 9-1-1 call of a toddler that had been pulled from the water at Kuhn Lake, part of the Barbee Lake chain, near the shoreline.

KCSD detectives stated that CPR was immediately started on the child who was then taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, before being airlifted.
